Shepherd

A shepherd is tasked to move a sheep herd to market to provide for their village; but to do so, they must cross a formidable desert while keeping the herd together and ensuring the sheeps' survival. 

​

Shepherd is a collaborative project where I am the game's vision holder, designer, and writer.

​

Chronautical is a narrative-driven sci-fi mystery. Investigate across space and time to uncover clues and unravel the secrets of a star system that has disappeared 

 

I joined the team half way through development as lead writer and narrative designer.

WRITING

 

Hunter (WIP)​

​

Set in the IP of Studio Ghibli's Nausicaä, Petra is a huntress working out of the taboo and feared Toxic Jungle. Her line of work and her family's past make her a "boogyman" of the town she serves who have increasingly intense stigmas of the Jungle and even knowledge surrounding it.

​

This game was an independent narrative project with a focus on branching narratives and technical implementation that was overseen by a mentor.

​

WRITING

 

Tamarisk

​

In this base-building narrative, play as a spirit who caretakes and guards an abandoned house while designing, upgrading, and dealing with potential new occupants. 

A caretaker spirit, Tamarisk, is intrinsically connected to the land of an estate that has fallen into ruin; but by breathing new life into the home, Tamarisk will stop it from being demolished, attract new occupants, and achieve renewed purpose.

​

Tamarisk was a solo project that I created. I wrote the game's narrative and designed the game's structure and mechanics.

FULL GAME

 

Volition

​

Volition is a short 3-5 minute experience that follows a young adult who is soon to graduate high school as they take out the trash. In the process, they are berated with expectations and the dread that they must soon make a drastic choice that will alter their life forever.

​

This short game is a solo project. I wrote the game, programmed it, created all art assets/animations, music, and sound effects.

​
